Section 1(2) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Building Rules, 1972
(2)They shall apply to the whole of the area which has been or may, hereafter, be declared as a municipality under the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920).
