Section 1 in The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Act, 1997
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Act, 1997.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.(3)This section shall come into force at once: and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such [date] [1st day of April 1999, vide G. N., H. and T. E. D., No. EXM. 2596/2148/(3-96)/7E-2, dated the 30th March 1999 appointed as a date of enforcement of the provisions of the Act except section 4.] as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
