Section 183(3) in The Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961
(3)On the regular line of the public street being prescribed under sub-section (1)-(i)no person shall, except in accordance with the provisions of this Act, construct or reconstruct and building or portion thereof within such line;(ii)all open land or lands consisting of Khandher lying within such line shall be deemed to be part of the public street and shall vest in the Council.
