(2)In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, the Board may, and shall if required by the Government so to do-(a)direct the preparation of development plans by the Planning and Development Authorities;(b)undertake, assist and encourage the collection, maintenance and publication of statistics, bulletins and monographs on planning and its methodology;(c)co-ordinate and advise on the planning and implementation of physical development programmes within the Union territory;(d)prepare and furnish reports relating to the working of this Act; and(e)perform such other functions as are incidental, supplemental or consequential to any of the functions aforesaid or which may be prescribed.
