25. Inclusion of names inadvertently omitted.
- If it appears to the Returning Officer that owing to inadvertence or error during preparation, the name of any elector has been left out of the roll and that remedial action should be taken under this rule, the Returning Officer shall-(a)prepare a list of names and other details of such electors ;(b)exhibit a copy of the list together with a notice as to the time and place at which the inclusion of the names in the roll will be considered, on the notice board of his office and in such other manner as he may think fit, and(c)decide, after considering any verbal or written objections that may be preferred, whether all or any of the names in the list should be included in the electoral roll.
