Section 5(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)Every candidate sent up by an affiliated institution for admission to an examination held by the Board shall not later than the prescribed date each year;(a)Pay the fees prescribed for such examination; and(b)State the subject or subjects, which he/she offers for the examination as per the existing scheme under which he/ she is eligible as per rules.
