Section 16(1) in Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (Chennai) Act, 1987

(1)The Controller of Examinations shall be an academician in the field of medical science and a whole time officer of the University appointed by the Governing Council on such terms and conditions as may be fixed by the Governing Council.
