Section 14(4)(b) in Birsa Munda Tribal University Act, 2017

(b)
(i)all powers relating to the maintenance of discipline and disciplinary action in relation to the students of the University and the University as a whole shall vest in the Vice-Chancellor:
(ii)the Vice-Chancellor may delegate all or any of his powers referred to in sub-clause (i), as he deems proper, to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and to such other officer as he may specify in this behalf.
