Section 16 in The Garo Hills Cotton Jute and Ginger Trade Regulation, 1980
16. Membership of the Association.
(1)Every grower, resident in the district may be a member of the Growers' Association on payment of Rs. 2 (Rupees two) as registration fee which will be non-recurring and non-refundable.(2)The Association by a resolution may prescribed the rate for contribution for growers growing more than one quintal of cotton, jute or ginger.(3)All such contributions realised shall be credited to the fund of the Association.
