Section 4(4) in The Statues and Regulations for Affiliation of Anna University
4.2Grant of affiliation to colleges. - The University shall have the power to affiliate any academic programme in any college within the University area, for admission to the examinations for degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University.
