54. Orders.
(1)The Executive Committee shall have power to issue orders not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances and the Regulations of the guidance and working of Boards and Committees and other bodies constituted under the provisions of the Act or the Statutes or the Ordinances or the Regulations and for regulating the procedure and conduct of business at meetings of any Authority of the University other than the General Council(2)All such orders shall have effect from such date as the Executive Committee may direct, but every such order shall be submitted to the General Council during its next succeeding meeting.
