222. Wings and mudguard.
(1)Every motor vehicle except a tractor or a trailer shall, unless adequate protection is afforded by the body of the motor vehicle, be provided with wings or other similar fittings to catch, so far as practicable, mud or water thrown up by the rotation of the wheels.(2)The rear wheels of every trailer shall be provided with wings as mentioned in sub-rule (1),
