Section 21(3) in The Goa Ground Water Regulation Act, 2002
(3)In determining the compensation to be awarded for the compulsory requisitioning of a well or a water source under this Act, the Ground Water Officer shall take into consideration,-(a)the market value of the standing crop, if any, based on average yield of the preceding three years;(b)the damage sustained by the owner of the well or the water source by depriving him of the use thereof; and(c)the generation charges including wear, and tear of the pump and other accessories in cases where the Ground Water Officer decides to retain such facilities while requisitioning the well or the water source.
