14. University Librarian and other officers.
(1)The University Librarian shall be a whole time salaried officer. He shall be appointed by the Executive Council in accordance with the Statutes made in this behalf and his qualifications, emoluments and conditions of service shall be such as may be determined by the Statutes having regard to the provisions of clause (xxix) of Section 20.(2)The powers and duties of the University Librarian and be officers of the University referred to in clause (vii) of Section 8, shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statues, Ordinance and Regulation.
