(1)The committee may cause a name or under or number to be given to any street, chowk, locality or building and to be affixed on any chowk, locality or building in such place as it may think fit.(2)Whoever shall destroy, pull down or deface any name or number affixed to any street, chowk, locality or building under this section, or put up any different name or number from that put up by order of the committee, shall be punishable with a fine which shall not be less than twenty-five rupees and more than two hundred rupees.
