Section 45(1) in Doctor Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005
(1)Notwithstanding that the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council or any other authority or body of the [University] [Substituted for 'Sansthan' by U.P. Act 35 of 2006, Section 2.] is not duly constituted or there is a defect in its constitution or re-constitution at any time and notwithstanding that there is no act or proceeding of any authority, committee or body of the [University] [Substituted for 'Sansthan' by U.P. Act 35 of 2006, Section 2.] shall be invalid merely by reasons of-(a)any vacancy in or defect in the constitution thereof; or(b)any defect in the election, nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereto; or(c)any irregularity in its procedure not affecting the merits of the case.
