Section 79(2)(a) in Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1961

(a)The President shall be entitled, without payment or rent, to the use of residence, in the headquarters of the panchayat or with the previous sanction of the State Government at any other place in the district throughout his term of office and for a period of fifteen days immediately thereafter, or in lieu of such residence house allowance at such rate as the State Government may determine by a general or special order.
