Section 57(1) in Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (Chennai) Act, 1987
(1)(a)As soon as may be, after the notified date, the Government may after, consulting the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chennai and [the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.&. Medical University, Chennai] [This expression was substituted by section 5 of the Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu (Amendment) Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1991) which was deemed to have come into force on the 10th December 1990.] direct, by general or special order, that such of the employees of the University of Chennai, as are serving in the Post-Graduate institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Taramani, Chennai, shall stand allotted to serve in connection with the affairs of [the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai] [Substituted by section 5 of the Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu (Amendment) Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1991) which was deemed to have come into force on the 10th December 1990], with effect on and from such date as may be specified in such order:Provided that no such direction shall be issued in respect of any person without his consent for such allotment.(b)With effect on and from the date specified in the order under clause (a), the persons specified in such order shall become employees of [the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.
