Section 216(2) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2011
(2)Every drums, fly-wheel and every other dangerous exposed part of any machinery used as, or forming part of, the equipment in a mine shall be adequately fenced by suitable guards of substantial construction to prevent danger and such guards shall be kept in position while the parts of the machinery are in motion or in use, which may be removed for carrying out any examination, adjustment or repair if adequate precautions are taken.
