Section 36(2) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(2)An officer of the University in the equivalent scale of Reader or below shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation ox a Standing Committee consisting of-(a)the Vice-Chancellor as the Chairman;(b)two nominees of the Chancellor having special experience in academic administration;(c)one senior officer of the University, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
