Section 5 in The Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975
5. Salary allowances & other conditions of service of Board & its committee.
(1)Non-official Members of the Board or any of its Committees residing in Jaipur shall be paid sitting allowance (fee) of [Rs. 150/-] [Substituted for the words 'Rs. 100' by Notification dated 25-5-2007, Published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part 4-C(I), dated 30-5-2007, Page 25(5).] and conveyance charges of [Rs. 50/- for each side of the journey for] [Substituted for the words 'Rs. 30/- for each day of' by Notification dated 25-5-2007, Published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part 4-C(I), dated 30-5-2007, Page 25(5).] the actual meeting of the Board or any of its Committees.(2)Non-official Members of the Board or any of its Committees not resident in Jaipur shall be paid Travelling Allowance as admissible to an Officer of the category 'A' under Travelling Allowance Rules of the State Government subject to the modification that the daily allowance will be [Rs. 60/-] [Substituted by Notification dated 8-3-1995, Published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part 4-C.] per day. Such a member shall also be paid in addition, a sitting allowance of [Rs. 150/-] [Substituted for the words 'Rs. 100' by Notification dated 25-5-2007, Published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part 4-C(I), dated 30-5-2007, Page 25(5).] for each day of the meeting:Provided that in case of a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly who is also a Member of the Board or any of its Committees, the said daily and travelling allowance will be admissible [x x x] [Deleted by Notification dated 18-2-1981, w.e.f. 16-4-1981.] on production of certificate by the Member that he has not drawn any such allowance for the same journey and halts from any other Government source.(3)The official members who are residing in Jaipur shall be paid fixed conveyance charge of [Rs. 30/-] [Substituted by Notification dated 8-3-1995, Published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part 4-C.] for each meeting. Official members who are not resident in Jaipur shall be paid travelling allowance admissible to them as per the T.A. Rules of the Government concerned.
