Section 29(2)(i) in The Bihar Municipal Election Rules, 2007

(i)For election to the post of Councillors in each Municipality, reservation and allotment of wards for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Backward Classes and Women of these categories in admissible number under Section 12(2)(a) of the Act shall be made by the District Magistrate under the direction, controls and supervision of the State Election Commission.
