30. Agriculture and Home Science Extension Service.
(1)The University shall establish an Agricultural and Home Science Extension Service for the purposes of -(a)undertaking extension programmes on a phased programme covering the entire State of Telangana in such manner as may be determined by the Government in consultation with the Board;(b)dissemination of information for the solution of problems relating to agriculture and domestic fields;(c)establishment of youth clubs for developing the interests of young people in agriculture; and(d)such other purposes as may be prescribed.(2)The Board shall appoint in the manner prescribed a person who had training in agriculture as the Director of Agricultural and Home Science Extension Service. He shall be responsible for dissemination of such information and planning and execution of a programme of extension work based upon the results of research.
