Section 51(1) in Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986
(1)Subject to the provisions contained in sub-section (2), the postgraduate students of the existing Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, enrolled before its establishment in the discipline of 'field crops' may obtain the degrees etc., from the Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishva Vidyalaya.
