Section 27(1)(iv) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960

(iv)Not less than one-half of the Heads of University departments, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, by rotation, in the manner prescribed by the Statutes, the term of office of such members being three years from the date of their nominations.
