Section 252(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)A Council may, with the previous sanction of the Collector, provide suitable places for burning or burying or otherwise disposing of dead bodies and may charge for the use of any such place or for the supply of any material such fees as the Council may from time to time determine.
