Section 74(1) in The Haryana New Mandi Townships Building Rules, 1967
(1)(a)A connection between a drain and a private or public sewer shall be so made that the drain shall join the sewer obliquely in the direction of the flow of the sewers;(b)if practicable for connection shall be made at an existing junction in the sewer;(c)where a junction is made in a sewer, the sewer shall be properly rejoined and made water tight.
