Section 24 in Rajasthan Sports University, Jhunjhunu Act, 2013
24. Academic Council.
(1)There shall be an Academic Council of the University, consisting of the following as members, namely:-(a)the Vice-Chancellor ex-officio Chairman;(b)the Pro-Vice-Chancellor;(c)Deans of Faculties;(d)one Professor from each Faculty to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(e)the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Youth Affairs and Sports Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;(f)Chairmen, Boards of Studies;(g)two persons having special attainment in the field of sports studies not being employees of the University, one to be nominated by the Chancellor and the other by the State Government; and(h)the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary.(2)The term of office of nominated members shall be two years.
