(1)This Act may be called the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar(3)It shall come into force on such date [ ] [The Act came into force on the 25th September, 1950 see notification No. 5067. L. R., dated 24.9.1950. President's assent published in Bihar Gazette (extraordinary) dated 25.9.1950.] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
