Section 48(3) in West Bengal Trade Unions Rules, 1998
(3)Any reference in this rule to the left forefinger of a voter shall, in the case where the voter has the left forefinger missing, be construed as a reference to any other finger of his left hand and shall, in the case where all the fingers of his left hand are missing, be construed as a reference to the forefinger or any other finger of his right hand.
