11. Special procedure in certain cases.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in regulation 6 or regulation 7 or regulation 8 the Disciplinary Authority may impose any of the penalties specified in regulation 4 if the employee has been convicted on a criminal charge, or on the strength of facts or conclusions arrived at by a court or where the employee has abandoned his post.Explanation. - For the purpose of this regulation, an employee shall be deemed to have abandoned his post if he absents himself from duty without leave or overstays his leave for a continuous period of ninety days without any intimation therefor in writing.
