Section 244(3) in The Building And Other Construction Workers '(Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Central Rules, 1998
(3)(i)The canteen referred to in sub-rule (1) shall be sufficiently lighted at all times when any person has access to it;(ii)the floor of such canteen shall be made of smooth and impervious material and inside walls of such canteen shall be lime-washed or colour-washed at least once in every six months: Provided that such inside walls of the kitchen of such canteen shall be lime-washed once in every three months.
