(5)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act for the time being in force, relating to the establishment of a Vishwavidyalaya in the State or the statutes, regulations and orders made thereunder, on and from the date to be specified by the Government, the colleges and institutions referred to in sub-section (1) shall stand de-affiliated preceding such specified date and shall be deemed to be colleges or institutions affiliated to the Vishwavidyalaya and the provisions of this Adhiniyam shall, as far as may be, apply accordingly.
