45. Transfer of certain colleges and institutions to Vishwavidyalaya.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1987 (No. 20 of 1987), or the statutes, regulations and orders made thereunder, on and from the commencement of this Adhiniyam, the Colleges mentioned in the Schedule shall stand transferred to-, and maintained by, the Vishwavidyalaya as constituent college and institutions alongwith the movable and immovable property of the Vishwavidyalaya.(2)On and from the commencement of this Adhiniyam, the control and management of the colleges and institutions specified in sub-section (1) and all properties, assets and liabilities of the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, in relation thereto shall stand transferred to, and vest in the Vishwavidyalaya.(3)The Government may, at any time after the commencement of this Adhiniyam, transfer to the Vishwavidyalaya any of its lands for the use of the Vishwavidyalaya on such terms and conditions as it may deem proper.(4)The Government may, at any time after the commencement of this Adhiniyam, transfer to the Vishwavidyalaya, the control and management of any of the colleges or institutions on such terms and conditions as it may deem fit.(5)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act for the time being in force, relating to the establishment of a Vishwavidyalaya in the State or the statutes, regulations and orders made thereunder, on and from the date to be specified by the Government, the colleges and institutions referred to in sub-section (1) shall stand de-affiliated preceding such specified date and shall be deemed to be colleges or institutions affiliated to the Vishwavidyalaya and the provisions of this Adhiniyam shall, as far as may be, apply accordingly.
