Section 10 in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885
10. Issue of license to a boat.
- If the conditions enumerated in Rules 8 and 9 are satisfied and necessary payment of fees as prescribed in Rule 32 of these rules has been made,the Boat Surveyor shall:-(a)issue to the owner a license ,which shall contain the particulars of the boat , and the name of the Navik or Manjhi in charge in Form III;(b)cause the necessary particulars relating to the boat to be entered in the Book of Registry in Form I .
