12. Appointment, powers, duties of the officers and their terms of office.
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, the powers and duties of the officers of the University other than the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar, the terms for which they shall hold office and the filling of casual vacancies in such offices shall be provided for by the regulations.(2)The mode of appointments, terms and conditions of service and the functions of the officers of the University, other than the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar, shall be prescribed by regulations in so far as they are not provided herein.
