(2)The [Gram Panchayat] [Substituted 'Gram Sabha' by U.P. Act No. 4 of 2016, dated 11.3.2016.] shall be responsible to maintain and repair as its cost the boundary marks, other than those mentioned in sub-section (1), lawfully erected in the villages situate within its jurisdiction.
