Section 1 in The Air (Prevention And Control Of Pollution) (Union Territories) Rules, 1983
1. Short title, application and commencement .-(1) These rules may be called The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) (Union Territories) Rules, 1983.
(2)They shall apply to the Union Territories of Delhi, Pondicherry, Goa, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.(3)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
