Section 23(1) in The Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1948
(1)On receipt of the report of the Veterinary Surgeon under sub-section (2) of section 21 or under sub-section (2) of section 22 and after such further inquiry, if any, as it may think fit, the [State] Government -(a)may cancel any declaration made under section 20, 21 or 22; or(b)may confirm such declaration either with or without modifications.
