Section 5(1)(i) in The Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981

(i)on the commencement of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rules, 1984 the Supervisor so appointed shall be appointed as Assistant Head if he is the senior-most teacher eligible for being appointed as Assistant Head; or
