16. Limits of expenditure on items of special nature.
(1)The Market Committee, with the sanction of the Government may,-(a)contribute towards the opening ceremony of the Market Committee constituted for the first time or of an institution under the control of the Market Committee;(b)defray any other extraordinary charges.(2)A Market Committee may incur expenditure towards preparation of address to the Governor, or a Minister of an amount not exceeding rupees one hundred :Provided that no charges shall be incurred on entertaining any Minister or any other V.l.P. or on the purchase of any casket for the presentation of address to him.
