- 47.1 Mezzanine floor may be permitted above any floor in all types of buildings up to an extent of one-third of the actual covered area of that floor. All Mezzanine floors shall be counted toward FAR calculation.The mezzanine floor shall have a minimum clear height of 2.10 m The minimum size of the mezzanine floor, if it is to be used as a living room, shall not be less than 9.5 Sq meter. The aggregate area of such mezzanine floor in a building shall in no case exceed one- third the plinth area of the building.
