Section 7(1)(a) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employees' Service) Regulations, 2001

(a)Notwithstanding anything contained in these Regulations, the competent authority may appoint persons on a temporary basis due to exigencies of work, on suitable terms and conditions, subject to such general or special directions, if any issued by the Board from time to time.
