Section 7(1) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employees' Service) Regulations, 2001
(1)(a)Notwithstanding anything contained in these Regulations, the competent authority may appoint persons on a temporary basis due to exigencies of work, on suitable terms and conditions, subject to such general or special directions, if any issued by the Board from time to time.(b)The terms and conditions of service of the temporary employees shall be specified by the competent authority but in no case shall the terms and conditions so specified be more favourable than those laid down in these regulations for an appointment carrying equivalent status or responsibility.
