(1)I he Finance and Accounts Officer shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Board from out of a panel of three names recommended by the State Government.(2)Subject to such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Board, the Finance and Accounts Officer shall hold office for a period of five years or until he attains the age of superannuation fixed for State Government employee, whichever is earlier.(3)The emoluments and other terms and conditions of service of the Finance and Accounts Officer shall be such as may be proscribed.(4)The Finance and Accounts Officer shall be the ex-officio Secretary to the Finance Committee.
