Section 16(b) in The Himachal Pradesh Forest (Settlement) Rules 1965, As Amended By First Amendment Rules 1975
(b)If paid for land, the assessment of the land should be equal to the annual value of the commuted right as estimate by the Forest Settlement Officer.
