72. Powers and functions of Karya Samiti.
- The Karya Samiti may exercise and shall perform such powers, duties and functions as are -(i)required to be exercised or performed by it or by under this Act;(ii)specified in the second column of Schedule IV and against which the words "shall be exercised by the Karya Samiti" have been entered in the third column of the Schedule; and(iii)delegated to the Karya Samiti by the Zila Panchayat under Section 57 :Provided that the Karya Samiti may delegate such of its powers, duties or functions to any sub-Committee established under Section 75 or to any officer of the Zila Panchayat as may be prescribed by rules.
