Section 359(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)The occupier of any premises in or on which any animal shall die or on which the carcass of any animal shall be found, and the person, having the charge of any animal which dies in a street or in any open place, shall within three hours after the death of such animal, or if the death occurs at night within three hours after sunrise, either-(a)remove the carcass of such animal to such receptacle, depot or place as may be appointed by the Commissioner in that behalf;or(b)report the death of the animal to an officer of the health department in charge of the division of the City in which the death occurred, with a view to his causing the same to be removed.
