Section 60(1) in The Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957
(1)All outside doors for the use of the public shall be made to open outwards and all internal doors shall be so fitted as not to obstruct, when open, any gangway, passage stairway or landing. Such doors, when open, should engage on an automatic spring.
