U.P. Homeopathic Medicine (Entrance Examination for Admission to the Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy Course) Regulations, 2015Published vide Notification No. 1372/71-Ayush-2-2015-92-96 T.C., dated December 21, 2015, published in the U.P. Gazette, Extraordinary, Part 4, Section (Ka), dated 21st December, 2015, pp. 3-4. - In exercise of the powers under sub-section (2) of Section 57 of the Uttar Pradesh Homeopathic Medicine Act, 1951 (Act No. VIII of 1952), the Governor is pleased to confirm and publish the following regulations made by the Board of Homeopathic Medicine, Uttar Pradesh in exercise of the powers under Section 55 of the said Act -

1. Short title and commencement.

(1)These regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh Homeopathic Medicine (Entrance Examination for Admission to the Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy Course) Regulations, 2015.
(2)They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Procedure for entrance examination.

(1)The private institutions have been accredited to operate the Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy syllabus of two years duration. All the institutions teaching Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy Course shall follow the following directives for holding the entrance examination for admission to the said course -
(a)every recognised institution shall keep their website updated with all the details intact for a minimum of 5 years and inform about it to the Board;
(b)one institution or more of the recognised institutions will conduct the examination and inform about it to the Board;
(c)during the entrance procedure, the details regarding every step shall be uploaded on the website. On receipt of the application every applicant will be provided with a unique number by the organising institution. This unique number will be mentioned after counselling, during the entrance and enrolling to the Board;
(d)the applicants who have passed the intermediate examination with science or mathematics or who are appearing in the said examination with such subjects and have attained the age of 17 year will be allowed to be admitted in the entrance test;
(e)all the institutions shall follow the Act, rules and Government orders for the time being in force with respect to reservation;
(f)the institutions will ensure transparency, merit based entrance and unbaised procedure of the entrance test;
(g)the question paper for the entrance examination shall contain 50% questions from the Science subject (of Intermediate level), 25% questions related to the knowledge of the English-Hindi languages and 25% based on the General Knowledge and Mental Ability test. All the questions will be multiple choice types. The confidentiality of the question papers will be ensured and it is compulsory to exhibit the answers of the questions in the question paper on the website within three days from the completion of the test;
(h)in the published advertisement for inviting of the applications, the introduction of Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy, the duration of the course, educational eligibility, reservation rules and the application format, the syllabus for the entrance test will be published;
(i)the advertisement will be published in Hindi, Urdu, English daily Newspapers, which have an extensive circulation among the public.

3. Timelines of entrance test.

- The step wise timelines of the entrance test are as follows -

3. Issuing the admit cards determination of thecentres,proceedings to requestBoard for the appointmentof the Invigilators Tenth July The facility to download the admit card will bemade available
4. Organising the entranceexamination Till 25th July The details of the examineeappearing in theexamination will beuploaded by the site till 5’ O clockthe very next day.
5. Declaration of the results ofthe entrance test Till 5th August The results will be uploadedexclusively on thewebsite on theevery same day.
6. Final selection proceedingsafter counselling(In steps asper the need) From August 5thto 31st August The results of the counselling willbe uploadedon the website atonce.
A mandatory follow up on updating the above mentioned timelines and details on the website is of utmost importance. Any kind of revision of the above mentioned calendar can be done by the administration on the basis of the opinion of the Board, in some special circumstances while mentioning those emergent circumstances.It is mandatory to follow the above mentioned directives. In the event of any kind of laxity in following the directives, the concerned institution will be liable for action as per the rules.
